A new series has begun on TheReelAnna.com! The past few series have taken a lot of research, preparation, and emotional energy on my part, so to take a little break (and have some fun!), I bring you A Geek’s Guide to Life where I will use fandoms, stories, and geeky pop culture as analogies for teaching lessons about personal growth.
If you have a topic or theme that you’d like covered, comment below! And if you’re interested in contributing a guest post for this series, check out this page.
Here is the image for the series. Let me explain what it means…
Every person is the main character of their own story.
We are all side characters in everyone else’s story, just as everyone is a side character in our own. We sometimes forget that every person around us has their own intricate back stories, conflicts, plots and subplots, side characters, mentors, antagonists, themes, and character developments because we can only see our own story from our own perspective.
With that said, I want to be your humble guide to help you along in your journey. The Dumbledore to your Harry Potter. The Gandalf to your Frodo Baggins. The Yoda to your Luke Skywalker. The Professor Oak to your Ash Ketchum. The Ancient One to your Stephen Strange.
I want to aid you in overcoming obstacles, vanquishing the limiting beliefs, doubts, and fears in your mind, understanding more about who you are, and reaching your full potential in becoming the best version of yourself you can be.
You are the star of this show, the hero of this ballad, the main character of this story.
So let’s continue on in your adventure! Huzzah!
This post will be a compilation of all the posts in this series, which will be added below as they go live on my blog. Under the Magic Portal, just click the titles or the images to be transported to the post.

This is such an amazing idea for a series! I’ll definitely be keeping my eye out. I don’t play or have ever been interested in Pokemon though so I’m not sure that post will make much sense to me! I’m hoping you’ll do some Lord of the Rings related posts!
